Clinic Coordinator, FT Days

Works with clinic staff members to ensure the competent and efficient workflow of the clinics. Oversees the Patient Coordinators while providing on-going training. Assists the clinics with supply ordering and inventory management. Assists the clinics with facility and equipment problems. Assists Director with patient complaints and the development and implementation of patient satisfaction programs and projects. Troubleshooting daily issues and concerns of clinic staff. Assists the Director with credentialing and recredentialing of providers as needed. Serves on the Physician Services Leadership Team with Director and Physician Billing Supervisor. Development of measures to promote staff satisfaction. Assists physicians as needed. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in AMMC Physicians’ Services, Inc. Standards of Performance.

Requirements:

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a physician medical office High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor Degree or some college credit hours preferred 3-5 years experience in medical office supervision Ability to lead/work well with fellow employees, physicians, patients and patient family members Ability to comfortably use Electronic Health Record system Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Moderate computer skills required.

Additional Information:

This is a salaried, exempt position. Salary range is $50,000/year to $60,000/year.

Billing Manager, FT Days, Clinics - Business Office

Works to resolve problematic and aged physician office insurance claims, overseas billers/coders as they process claims, process/post private pay and insurance receipts for each clinic; prepare banks deposits for each clinic; process all electronic remittances for each clinic, process bad debt collection accounts, prepare and/or process reports and indexes on daily or as needed basis for account upkeep, prepare month end reports and work reports for outgoing patient account statements. The Billing Supervisor contacts insurance carriers for doctor certification, claim status updates, and write appeals when necessary, etc. The Billing Supervisor also provides schedules for billers/coders and resolves any problems or questions they may have. Serves on the Physician Services Leadership Team with Director and Clinic Coordinator. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in AMMC’s Physician’s Services, Inc. Standards of Performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent with experience in medical billing and management in a medical billing environment. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes a plus.

Patient Coordinator, FT, Days, Womens’ Clinic

Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and in person. Complete patient check-in/out tasks and other administrative tasks as assigned. Greeting visitors, handling incoming calls and performing insurance verifications. Will also assist other staff with overflow work, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a physician medical office

  • Must have previous customer service experience
Prior Authorization Coordinator, Clinics Business Office, FT Days

The Prior Authorization Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and securing timely prior authorizations for medications, procedures, diagnostic testing, and treatments. This role ensures that all medical necessity and insurance requirements are met to reduce delays in patient care and reimbursement. Collaborates with providers, insurance companies, and clinical teams to ensure a smooth authorization process and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

Licensed clinical professional (e.g. RN, LPN, MA, etc.) preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical role. Prior experience with utilization review, prior authorizations, or insurance preferred. Strong analytical, communication and project management skills.

Medical Assistant, Family Practice/ Urgent Care/ Float, FT, Days

Must be clinically competent; deliver care to patients in utilizing the nursing process

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant Certification preferred

Phlebotomist, PR, Urgent Care

Must be competent in blood collection ,patient identification, labeling and documentation of sample collection specimen processing and various clerical tasks; to ensure quality patient care on adult, pediatric and neonatal populations, deliver care to patients utilizing established policies, procedures and protocols; effectively interact with patients, families, visitors and other staff members while maintaining standards of laboratory professionals;

Requirements:

Successfully completed a Phlebotomy Program w/certificate or minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience preferred; National certification preferred. On-the-job training may be available in some situations.

Additional Information:

This position will work in our Urgent Care Lab.
